From One Woman’s Wardrobe to Every Woman’s Closet

In 1984, my parents, Evelyn & Arthur Lewis left the hustle of New York for the easygoing charm of Palm Beach, Florida. But Evelyn quickly found that her wardrobe didn’t suit her new lifestyle—and she couldn’t find anything that did. So, she created it.From that need, the very first Evelyn & Arthur store was born. Soon after, my husband Fred and I joined the business, helping grow what began as a personal passion into a brand built for all women.

We’ve grown from 1 store to 7 stores (6 in Florida and one in Hilton Head, SC) plus a thriving online presence. But at heart, we’re still the same neighborhood boutique. Our customers are greeted by name, and return season after season for the service, the style, and the smiles we’re known for. We’re here to help you feel your best—with friendly faces, expert guidance, and a personal touch that’s become our signature.

For more than four decades, we’ve partnered with local organizations and women’s shelters to support underserved women in the communities we call home.
